250 words is great because it's too short to do too much in depth but it's long enough that there's room to have fun with it. I can do a LITTLE bit of description but the word budget is really tight. When I'm really pressured to cut my stories down, it shows me what parts of the story are unnecessary and which ones I need to keep!
