“The cold distance of space seems to be vaster than I anticipated,” said Uriel to himself as he looked out the window of the space capsule. “On Earth there is always something to compare it to. Up here there is the moon, the sun and the earth. The only difference was they, too, seemed so far away.
He shifted his thoughts to the stars that were found in every direction. “On Earth, there are many stars to be seen but up here it is infinitesimal, YOu could stargaze, every day all day and still not see all of them.”
As he was staring off into space Uriel heard a clunk. He checked his Cameras to see if anything outside the ship was wrong. Seeing nothing, he heard the clunk again. He pulled himself towards the lunar module hatch and opened it. He flicked on the lights and peered into the tiny area. A wrench was floating past him. He grabbed for it and tumbled head first through the opening as the hatch closed behind him.
“It had to be today of all days, that this happened.” His big meeting was destined to start without him.
Another great batch of highlights and another intriguing bundle of prompts... my brain is trying to tie them together already! 😉
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with Jeannine!!
Pinta may find herself in trouble this chapter.
Shot in a quick one this week excited to ready everybody’s
I rather like the idea of cheeky fun; thanks! :) Although I'm legit not sure which way to go with this week's prompts...
