Find The Blackpage - Ep 6
I haven't read fantasy in more than 30 years, but I enjoyed this. Good work!
YAN DA-WIL! YAN DA-WIL! YAN DA-WIL!
I love that Julian was the one to figure it out! And that Henri doesn't have to haunt him.
Manheim's impatience will get him killed in time, not just trapped.
Cool chapter. I am reminded of good old Colossal Cave in the game Adventure.
There are some "it's" that should be "its" (if "it is" would not make sense there, leave out the apostrophe).
Play stupid games, Manheim...
I'm not sure I was supposed to laugh when Varus said, "I don't think that was the book." but I did. This is a great story. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Good on him rescuing Manheim('s book)! It hadn't even occurred to me that you could put books within books. Stories within stories...
Will Julian's mercy extend only so far as to rescue the book? No. He dangles bacon over the pages, and they fall forward into the red light.
TRADE MANHEIM. JUST HAND YAN DAWIL THE WHOLE BOOK AND BE DONE WITH THAT FOOL.
