Rates
Up until today (16 October 2024) I had taken my rates down from this page. That’s because I wanted to be flexible while I learned the business. With some experience under my belt, I am now republishing my rates, with a formula and an example table.
My rate is [$50 + ($0.05 per word) + ($10 per unique character not including narrator)]
I am open to negotiating this rate depending on the project, but let this serve as a good rule of thumb.
HOWEVER as a special promo, I am offering 25% off for fiction and 50% off for non-fiction narration. These discounts are in effect until 31 December 2024.
On 1 January 2025, these discounts will end for non-paid subscribers. Existing paid subscribers can still hire me at this discounted rate!
