I've subscribed to all. I think my favorite was the one with the lowest score! Yes, there was a lot, but I think for the ending to have that kind of punch, the reader almost needs too much information.

Its important to clarify that the score isnt just about how good the story was—I loved the story too! But there was a categorical breakdown and Sara and I tried to give every competitor a TON of useful information they can deploy in each category in future challenges. I am REALLY excited to see what Eric does for challenge 2! Thanks for supporting these competitors, Stephanie!

That is fair. I think I remember something about the categories now that you mention it. And of course I support these writers!! If I can't be a fiction-writer, I can always be a reader, commenter, editor, resource.

You're very kind. Thank you. My work for the year is devotion, to God, to family, and to craft. The prompts push me out of my comfort zone of nerdy Bible scholar!

If you ever have a chance, I'd love to hear some feedback on my non-fiction that I publish on Tuesdays. The ones on March 26 and Apr 9 are some of the hardest things I written, and I think they're pretty good, but I don't get much in the way of commentary or even readers. :)
