This made me want to get out and go for a walk myself. Well done!

1. I have; I'm not overly keen on it. I don't usually carry an umbrella anymore because I don't really drive; I used to have a Star Wars umbrella with a lightsaber-style handle, but alas, that was lost some years ago. C'est la vie.

2. I did when I was driving. Now, not really. Mostly it's the car seat for the kiddo, lol.

3. I...don't know that I've ever thought about it! Whatever doesn't knock the power out, is my thought. :) I will say, I do really love a grey rainy day; I don't necessarily like being out *in* it, but if I don't have to go anywhere.... my wife is the same way.

I don't know what it is about grey rainy days that feel perfect for writing! That lightsaber umbrella is a real loss!

It even had the Imperial logo on it! *weeps quietly*

I keep a lot of stuff on my car but only because I never bring stuff in from my car except like three times a year 😅

High key love this! I’m a rainy day gal through and through, and I love seeing the look on the kids’ faces when they go out in the rain after a long dry stint.

Rain is horrible to walk in while you’re dry. and then you give into the fact that you’re just going to have to be soaked! I love this

The stages of weather grief:

Denial: "It won't be that bad"

Anger: "Ugh I can't believe it's raining"

Bargaining: "Maybe if I can just run under that awning"

Depression: "I'm soaked."

Acceptance: "I'm soaked!"

Love this!

Definitely a rain lover here...something about it helps me write. I used to keep an umbrella in my car but, after I lived in a Seattle for a few years, I stopped. Turns out, it's frowned upon to use an umbrella in Seattle--if you get caught in the rain you're expected to trudge on business as usual.

Business as usual in the rain is my favorite thing, but I am not a seatellite, so my fortunes are perhaps the opposite.

My friends think I'm nuts. I live in one the sunniest cities in the world but love the rain - the smell the sound and the atmosphere inspires me to write, read, make music, and just listen to it.

Hello, Scoot! This is David the Barbarian, back from a refreshing repast. I had an experience like that recently, the last day of my vacation out fishing. It was windy, overcast and drizzling, and I didn't catch much that day but it was still a great ending.

A very comfy story you've written, and I have been noodling a longer adventure type story, my Crunch might be a contribution to that.

DAVE! So glad you are here! I'm much more active here than *the other place* but i do plan to write there again too. Just have more fun with fiction and all this. Looking forward to reading your version!
