The State of Gibberish
Frankly, I couldn’t get my act together to do another voice-over version of this update, so please accept this textual version until I get that squared away. It’s November! We’ve made it! And I actually published some things!
I’m going through a high-stress time in the background right now so I can’t promise much but I can promise to keep the regular things going. In Last Month’s Update I announced changes to the paywall structure of Gibberish, so you’ll start seeing that from hereon out.
More on the paywall in a moment, but if you’ve been thinking about it here’s the button!
The Paywallening
The paywall has begun! Everything from January 2023 and earlier has gone behind a paywall as of this afternoon. Check out the previous update to see the stories that have gone behind the wall!
On December 1st, everything from February 2023 and earlier will go behind a paywall. The next stories to go under are these:

Sandbox Earth! Sandbox earth began posting in February of 2023, which means the entire serial excluding the Index and Episode 1 will go behind a paywall.

What I’m Working On
I wrote my Writing Exercises as usual! You can find those as part of The Writing Gym. I’ve begun doing Paid Subscriber Chats to talk about craftsmanship and what exactly I was exercising in the weekly exercises. We’ve had two so far, and I plan to get more and more in-depth, so this is another reason to consider a paid subscription!
I also published a couple flash fiction stories this month, which was nice to return to!

Finally, it’s worth noting that I am working on a Big Writing Project™ behind the scenes and it’s taking a lot of time, so expect some sporadic flash fiction to quench your thirst while you wait for this big project to finish!

This was a news-heavy issue of the Monthly Update, but I appreciate you sticking with me to the end. There’s a lot going on, I’m excited to write for you in November and see where another month can take us.
