The State of Gibberish
The winter hiatus is officially over! Actual fiction and writing is on its way. The first monthly writing exercise is in development, a mini-series is coming very shortly, Flash Fiction Friday has launched—there’s a lot to be excited about, so lets get into it.

What Is Coming?
We’re kicking things off strong in February.
Flash Fiction Friday began yesterday with the first set of prompts for a new year of writing. If you haven’t joined the chat yet, write some fiction and make sure you share it! Check out some of the other stories while you’re there!
Trials of the Hearken is a three-part miniseries that begins publishing next week on February 7th.
SYNPOSIS: The Colony Ship Hearken was supposed to be the Jovian Union’s first colonial effort into space. The launch went wrong, and the ship was lost in space.
Aboard the ship: A captain cracking under the weight of responsibility, a couple who want only freedom, a crewman torn between two worlds, and a question on the minds of 500 lost souls: What are we going to do now?
I am disproportionately excited about this story—it’s been on my mind since I wrote it’s prequel, Out of the Black, which you do not HAVE to read but I encourage you to read in preparation! Part 1 posts 2/7, Part 2 posts 2/14, and Part 3 will post 2/21. Buckle up!
Writing Exercises! My writing exercises are going to be more deliberate and careful, so as mentioned previously these will be once per month. It will post on February 25th, the last Tuesday of the month, and along with it will be my paid-subscriber craftsmanship chat.
